I Asked The Wrong Store

last night, my siblings and i went to the mall to chill out. since the weather was hot, we thought we'd hang out in the mall and take advantage of their aircon. i hate hot weather! we decided to have dinner at the foodcourt since we could choose the food that we like from different stores. anywayz, i noticed that my niece had a mini garfield stuffed toy together with her happy meal. since i was craving for mcdonald's burger meal deal, i took my nephew, sebastian, with me and off we went to mcdonald's. i ordered cheeseburger happy meal with an extra fillet o fish burger. the staff gave me a mouse stuffed toy and i asked them if i could get garfield instead. she gave me a funny look and told me they don't have garfield. i asked twice again and she gave me the same answer. we left then went back to our table. my eyes were focused on the plastic packaging of garfield that my niece bought earlier. freakin hell, her garfield was bought at kfc!!! no wonder, the mcdonald's staff was looking at me funny. she must thought i was crazy *hehehe* i told my funny story to my siblings and in-laws and they all laughed at me. oh well... in the end, i bought those 3 garfield toys at kfc for AUD$2.99 each - didn't want to get their happy meal as i was already full with my meal. i tell you, kfc makes money on these toys. i'm sure kfc only bought this for less than 50 cents from china. the label attached on the toy said "made in china."
